Big 10 Kayak and Beer Extravaganza

Join fellow Big 10 alumni for a kayaking and beer tasting event. Get ready for a fun day on the Shenandoah River, followed by a delicious private dinner and beer tasting. All alumni and guests who are in good physical condition for three hours on the river are welcome to attend. Proceeds from this event will be divided among the participating school's scholarship funds.

Date: Sunday, September 26, 2010
Departure: 12pm - corner of Connecticut and Calvert Streets NW (Woodley Park Metro)
Return: approx. 9pm - same location
Cost: $89/person
Includes: round trip coach bus transportation, kayaks, dinner, beer tasting and tour, certified guides
Bring: 2 liters of water, towel, change of dry clothes, bathing suit, appropriate river shoes (no flip flops), sunscreen, optional snacks

Participating schools: U Cal - Berkeley, Illinois, Iowa, Northwestern Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, and Wisconsin.
