STUDENT RECRUITMENT
Among our many club activities is one that many enjoy each year: student recruitment. The alumni club represents OSU at college fairs in DC, Northern Virginia, and Southern Maryland to share our love of Ohio State with prospective students.
Who can participate?
You may not know how many majors are offered on main campus (there are over 170 majors and hundreds of specializations within those majors) or how many valedictorians were in the admitted freshman class last year (there were 290), but you can still help! OSU provides recruitment volunteers with just about all of the information they might need to answer questions from prospective students and parents - and contact information for Columbus so the students can follow-up on any lingering questions. What's most important is sharing your passion for OSU with prospective students.
